British-born DJ and producer Matt Beauchamp has spent nearly a decade crafting a singular blend of UK bass music and world folk sounds. Now touring Asia full time, Mungk turns the soundsystem into a vehicle for travel — bass-heavy, dubwise, and deeply melodic.
His debut album Temple of Mungk on DUPLOC follows a monk's journey from China through India, the Middle East, Egypt and Africa — woven with field recordings and traditional instrumentation from each country. A concept project that turned heads across the deep dubstep scene worldwide.
